Job Description
As a Telesales Representative in the banking sector, you will be responsible for reaching out to potential and existing customers over the phone to promote banking products and services. Your goal is to understand customer needs, provide information on relevant offerings, and encourage them to make use of the bank’s products, such as credit cards, loans, or savings accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contact customers via phone to introduce and promote banking products and services.
- Explain the benefits and features of products in a clear and engaging manner.
- Answer questions and address customer concerns regarding banking products.
- Identify customer needs to recommend suitable banking solutions.
- Record customer information and feedback accurately in the database.
- Meet daily and monthly sales targets set by the team leader or manager.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience as telesales representative or other sales/customer service role
- Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quota preferably over the phone
- Good knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g. CRM software) and telephone systems
- Ability to learn about products and services and describe/explain them to prospects
- Excellent knowledge of English
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of banking products (training may be provided).
- Ability to handle objections and respond effectively.
- Goal-oriented with a positive attitude.
