Job Description
- Assist in the planning and coordination of events, including venue selection, vendor management, and event logistics.
- Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and service providers to ensure timely delivery of materials, equipment, and services.
- Assist in managing event budgets, tracking expenses, and maintaining financial records.
- Support guest management processes, including registration, RSVP tracking, and responding to guest inquiries.
- Assist in developing event timelines, schedules, and run sheets.
- Help with on-site event setup, including decorations, signage, audiovisual equipment, and seating arrangements.
- Provide general administrative support, including managing emails, phone calls, and documentation related to events.
- Assist in conducting post-event evaluations and preparing event reports.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in event planning.
Job Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience as an Event Specialist
- Fluent in English, both writing and speaking is a must
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications as well as Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required for event setup and execution.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
