Job Description
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS) and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
- Review journal entries and ensure accuracy in financial records.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Oversee the accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
- Monitor cash flow and manage collections to maintain healthy financial operations.
- Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and company policies.
- Prepare documentation and reports for compliance purposes.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify trends and provide insights for decision-making.
- Support management with financial modeling and analysis for strategic initiatives.
- Mentor and train junior accounting staff, providing guidance on best practices.
- Foster a collaborative environment within the finance team.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements within the accounting department.
- Implement new accounting software or tools as needed to enhance efficiency.
Job Requirements
- University degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
- Minimum of 5 -7 years of accounting experience, with a focus on financial reporting and analysis.
- Experience in the manufacturing or furniture industry is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
