The Chains Optimization & Connectivity Executive is responsible for overseeing all technical and operational processes related to regional chains and coordinating with other regions for international chain connectivity. This includes managing chain mapping, optimizing system performance, resolving escalations across commercial, operational, and technical functions, and driving strategic initiatives aligned with WebBeds' business objectives. The role ensures seamless supplier integrations, enhances hotel connectivity, and drives revenue performance through data-driven insights and process improvements.
Job Requirements
Key elements to the role include, but not limited to:
Tactical Chain Connectivity Management
- Handle the departmental technical & operational processes, including the chains’ mapping & system optimization.
- Optimize the mapping, un-mapping, and system setup of newly contracted and existing properties to maximize inventory availability.
- Manage global and regional chain integrations, ensuring efficient cross-regional collaboration.
Performance Optimization & Data Analytics
- Oversee the quality of audited properties, ensuring room availability and rate competitiveness making use of industry tools such as Price Crawler.
- Enhancing conversion ratios by analysing booking failures and lost bookings, and implementing corrective actions to increase direct contribution
- Track and optimize performance using daily, weekly, and monthly reporting on room nights, revenue, and booking trends.
- Conduct deep-dive analyses on search and feed optimization to improve L2B (Look-to-Book) ratios and enhance customer experience.
Supplier & Stakeholder Management
- Serve as a technical point of contact for chain hotel partners, handling escalations related to rates, policies, and operational issues.
- Collaborate with commercial, customer service, finance, and tech teams to ensure seamless operations and issue resolution.
- Engage with switch providers and monitoring system performance
- Lead supplier relationship management in conjunction with Chains Optimization and Connectivity Manager, ensuring high service levels and maximizing supplier engagement.
Process Improvement & Automation
- Drive continuous process optimization, identifying inefficiencies and recommending automation opportunities.
- Work closely with IT teams to enhance connectivity tools and interfaces, ensuring smooth API integrations.
- Implement scalable solutions to support growth and operational efficiency.
Key Performance Measures
- Driving top line revenue for existing and newly connected hotels.
- Optimization of L2B ratio and search-to-book conversion rates.
- Improved rate competitiveness and reduced booking failures.
- Enhanced supplier satisfaction and engagement levels.
- Implementation of operational efficiencies and automation initiatives.
