Senior QA Test Engineer

Responsibilities:

§ Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test scenarios, test suites, and test cases.

§ Identify, document, and track software defects found during testing.

§ Collaborate with development team to ensure software and system improvements are delivered as expected.

§ Review and analyze system specifications and collaborate with the team to understand product changes.

§ Provide feedback on product quality, risk, and usability.

§ Mentor junior QA Engineers and oversee their work for quality and guideline adherence.

§ Develop and maintain automation frameworks that meet our business needs with respect to functionality, performance, scalability, and other quality goals.

§ Collaboration tools: JIRA/ Confluence.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of 5 years of QA testing experience, with a focus on automated testing techniques.
• Excellent command of the English language.
• Experience testing distributed, scalable, and highly available systems.
• Extensive experience in all stages of application testing, including backend testing, functional, usability, regression, load/stress and performance testing.
• Knowledge of various QA methodologies, QA practices, software lifecycle, testing tools, and bug tracking tools.
• Test automation experience with Java and Selenium
• Performance testing with JMeter or equivalent
• API testing with Rest Assured or Postman
• Coding experience in Java, JavaScript, TypeScript or a similar language - is a plus.
• Experience with security testing - nice to have but not essential.
