Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Robotics Instructor to inspire students (ages 7–18) through hands-on robotics, coding, and STEM education. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in robotics, experience working with kids/teens, and a passion for innovative teaching methods.
Key Responsibilities:
✔ Teach Robotics & Programming:
- Deliver interactive lessons in robotics, electronics, and automation using platforms like Arduino, ESP ,or Raspberry Pi.
- Introduce students to coding for robotics (Python, C++, or block-based programming).
- Guide students in building, programming, and troubleshooting robots.
✔ STEM Project-Based Learning:
- Design and lead hands-on robotics projects (e.g., line-following robots, robotic arms, autonomous vehicles).
- Encourage problem-solving, teamwork, and creativity through challenges and competitions.
✔ Curriculum Development:
- Develop engaging lesson plans, tutorials, and learning materials tailored to different age groups.
- Integrate AI and IoT concepts (for advanced students, if applicable).
✔ Student Engagement & Assessment:
- Monitor progress, provide feedback, and adapt teaching methods to different learning styles.
- Organize robotics demonstrations, competitions, or exhibitions to showcase student work.
Job Requirements
✔ Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in Robotics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Prior teaching/training experience with kids/teens (7–18 years old) is a must.
- Strong background in robotics hardware (sensors, motors, microcontrollers) and software (Arduino IDE, ROS is a plus).
✔ Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Python, C++, or similar languages for robotics programming.
- Experience with robotics kits (Arduino, Raspberry Pi, etc.).
- Familiarity with AI/ML applications in robotics (optional but beneficial).
- The ability to design models on design programs and assemble them is a bonus.
✔ Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Patient, creative, and passionate about STEM education.
- Teaching certification or robotics training experience is a plus.
