Job Description
- Develop and implement the company's financial strategy in alignment with the overall business objectives and long-term vision.
- Lead the annual budgeting process and long-range financial planning, providing strategic insights and recommendations to drive business growth and profitability.
- Oversee the preparation and analysis of accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, for internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify and assess financial risks and opportunities, developing and implementing strategies to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
- Manage the company's capital structure and funding requirements, including debt and equity financing, to support strategic initiatives and growth plans.
- Optimize cash flow and liquidity management, overseeing banking relationships, investment decisions, and foreign exchange exposure.
- Establish and maintain robust financial controls and compliance processes to ensure the integrity of financial data and adherence to regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
- Lead financial due diligence and integration efforts for potential mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships.
- Serve as the primary liaison with investors, analysts, and financial institutions, communicating the company's financial performance, strategy, and outlook.
- Build and develop a high-performing finance team, providing leadership, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree or MBA preferred).
- 10 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles, with [8] years in a senior financial leadership position.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation preferred.
- Proven track record of developing and executing financial strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing finance team.
- Excellent analytical, strategic, and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving results and continuous improvement.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Experience in a multinational or publicly traded company preferred.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements, financial reporting standards, and best practices in corporate governance.
- Proficiency in financial management systems and tools, as well as advanced knowledge of Excel and financial modeling.
