Job Description

Key Roles & Responsibilities:
Commercial Market Analysis:

  • Work closely with Marketing, Sales, Operations, and Finance teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new Commercial & Pricing initiatives.
  • Conduct in-depth market research to assess the feasibility of new products or services & to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscapes.
  • Analyze market data to understand customer behavior, pricing patterns, and demand dynamics.
  • Prepare market reports and presentations to inform strategic decision-making

Pricing Strategy & Implementation:

  • Develop and implement effective pricing strategies to optimize revenue and profitability.
  • Conduct pricing analysis to determine optimal pricing levels for products and services.
  • Monitor competitor pricing and adjust pricing strategies accordingly.
  • Evaluate the impact of pricing changes on sales volume and profitability.
  • Integrate cost components into pricing models to ensure precise pricing calculations.

Financial & Commercial Analysis:

  • Analyze profitability by product, customer segment, or sales channels.
  • Prepare financial reports and analyses related to commercial activities.
  • Analyze commercial data to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Prepare clear and concise commercial reports for management.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency within the commercial and pricing functions.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or any related field.
  • 2-3+ years of experience in a similar commercial and/or pricing role.
  • Extensive experience in analyzing pricing strategies and forecasting revenue and market share.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to translate data insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making skills, and data-driven approach
  • Proven ability to manage change and implement process improvements
  • Excellent communication skills to present insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
  • Experience in building dashboards for commercial use using BI tools is an asset (e.g., Analytics Studio, Tableau, Power BI).
