Job Description
- I oversee the daily operations of the frozen fruits and vegetables factory, ensuring that production targets and quality standards are consistently met.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary team to achieve operational excellence and foster a culture of safety and accountability.
- Implement and monitor production schedules, resource allocation, and workflow optimization to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and food safety regulations, including HACCP, ISO, and local standards.
- Collaborate with supply chain, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure timely sourcing of raw materials and delivery of finished goods.
- Analyze production data and KPIs to identify process improvement and cost reduction areas.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including lean manufacturing and waste reduction projects.
- Manage factory budgets, control operational costs, and prepare regular performance reports for senior management.
- Coordinate maintenance and repair activities to minimize equipment downtime and ensure optimal functioning of all machinery.
- Liaise with quality assurance teams to address customer feedback, resolve product issues, and uphold brand reputation.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Agriculture, or a related field
- More than 10 years’ experience in the frozen fruits and vegetables industry.
- Production Planning and Operations Management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
