We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Design Engineer with 4 to 7 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical design, proficiency in AutoCAD, and basic knowledge of PLC systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop electrical systems and components for oil and gas projects.
• Prepare detailed electrical drawings and schematics using AutoCAD.
• Develop and prepare accurate electrical designs, including Bill of Materials (BOM), drawings (DWG), and technical specifications.
• Utilize AutoCAD to create detailed design layouts and schematics for electrical systems in oil and gas applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet project requirements and industry standards.
• Conduct research to support design decisions and stay updated on the latest technologies and practices in electrical engineering.
• Apply knowledge of PLC basics (Siemens) to facilitate integration with control systems.
• Demonstrate understanding of soft starters, Variable Frequency Drives (VFD), Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS), synchronization, and distribution principles.
• Ensure designs comply with electrical standards such as IEC, NEC, and NEMA.
• Assist in motor sizing, cable sizing, and the design of Low Voltage (LV) panels.
• Provide support in the selection and specification of generators (gas/diesel) and pumps.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, presenting design concepts and updates clearly and professionally.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards under tight deadlines.
