Technical office Engineer - Electrical

Review contract drawings, specifications, BOQs, and other project documents.

Prepare and update electrical shop drawings, coordinated drawings, builders’ work drawings, and as-built drawings.

Coordinate electrical designs and layouts with architectural, structural, mechanical, and other project disciplines.

Prepare material submittals, technical data sheets, method statements, and inspection and test documentation.

Prepare quantity take-offs, BOQ comparisons, and material schedules for procurement and installation.

Respond to RFIs and technical queries; track comments and coordinate drawing approvals with the consultant and client.

Review subcontractor and supplier submissions for compliance with project requirements.

Support site teams by clarifying drawings, resolving technical issues, and providing approved documentation.

Identify design conflicts, missing information, and potential changes; communicate these promptly to the project team.

Assist with variation evaluations, progress measurements, and supporting technical documentation for claims.

Maintain document registers and ensure the latest approved drawings and revisions are available to relevant teams.

Support testing, commissioning, handover, and close-out activities, including O&M manuals and as-built records.

Ensure electrical works comply with applicable codes, standards, safety requirements, and project quality procedures.
