Job Description

Job Purpose

work to propel a corporate brand image starting from overseeing the development of brand collateral to developing internal and external communications strategies also liaising with media to help the brand gain exposure in local, national, and international media.

Job Responsibilities

  • Set The PR strategy which is cascaded from marketing strategy and aligned with corporate brand strategy
  • Overseeing the daily operations of the public relations team
  • Develop and implement PR campaigns and strategies and monitor their success.
  • Oversee the creation of PR collateral to ensure that it is consistent with the organization's brand, including white papers, website copy, and more.
  • Manage day-to-day PR programs locally, regionally, and globally.
  • Responsible for writing all PR briefs and leading inductions with all appointed agencies.
  • Plan and budget for PR events, programs, and initiatives 
  • Develop and implement PR policies and procedures.
  • Produce content for various speeches, events, hearings.
  • Develop clear, concise, and differentiated written materials (emails, releases, soundbites, pitches, presentations, articles) for internal and external audiences.
  • Measure and report results in terms of return on investment (ROI) and return on objectives (ROO) in relation to key company goals of brand awareness, perception, and sentiment, along with demand measures of increasing website traffic.
  • Manage sensitive issues to maintain the company’s good reputation
  • Managing public relations budgets
  • Create and maintain relationships with key business and trade media that can lead to increased visibility for the company, its key initiatives, and campaigns in the market.
  • Build long-term relationships with all relevant stakeholders, such as local government, media people, journalists, politicians, etc.
  • Set objectives for the PR team and monitor team members’ performance
  • Arrange interviews and press releases to promote our company and its products/services

Job Requirements

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, marketing, advertising, or communications.
  • MBA Certified is preferred.
  • A marketing Certificate or Diploma is a must.


  • 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with digital and print marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing.
  • Up to date with the latest trends and best practices.

Technical Skills

  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities and abilities to multitask.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Flexible, adaptive, and collaborative personality.
