Job Description
- Administrating, configuring Fault & Performance Management & OSS Servers HW, OS and Platform levels
- Generating required reports as SLA, Status, Utilization, Performance, Delay, etc.
- Customizing & Developing new fault & performance reports
- R&D for any new feature or application required for the target of delivering new service or feature for Enterprise customers
- Administration of ALCATEL OSS – Network Analyzer & Huawei NMS
- Development for required applications or features to meet customers’ business requirements
- Administrating B2B systems like Video Surveillance, DNS Control Panel, TACACS, SMS Gateway & other on HW, OS and Platform levels
- R&D for any new application required for the target of delivering new service or feature for Enterprise customers ex. IOT
- Auto-Discovery for network at both access and core layers on daily basis to build technical DB with all details
- Integration with NIM, BIS & eWATCH to update automatically by HW inventory installed at customer sites & on access layer
- Development for any required modules for automation and integration purposes
Job Requirements
Essential Qualifications:
- B. Sc. in computer or Communications Engineering
- CCNA Service Provider
- Good knowledge about Systems administration and Maintenance
- Good network conceptual knowledge
- Excellent Linux and Microsoft OS administration knowledge
- Very Good Scripting skills e.g. Shell, Perl and Python
Desirable Qualifications:
- DB administration [ORACLE/MYSQL/Sybase/Oracle]
- Linux/Unix systems administration
- Web Development skills
Essential Experience:
- At least 1 to 3 years relevant experience in Network Systems and OS Administration is a must
- Linux/Unix Administration is a must
- SQL Administration and reporting is a must
Desirable Experience:
- 1 year experience with making tools using python or java
- 1 or 2 years’ experience in SQL programing
