Job Description
- Create and execute a comprehensive sustainability strategy aligned with the company’s goals and values.
- Oversee sustainability projects from conception to execution, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
- Collect and analyze data related to energy consumption, waste management, carbon credits, Plastic credits, and resource use to identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards; prepare reports for stakeholders on sustainability metrics and progress.
- Collaborate with internal departments, external partners, and community organizations to promote and implement sustainability initiatives.
- Develop and conduct training programs for employees to raise awareness about sustainability practices and policies.
- Research and implement innovative solutions to enhance sustainability efforts, including renewable energy and waste reduction techniques.
- Track the effectiveness of sustainability programs and initiatives, making adjustments as necessary to achieve targets.
- Constantly updates relevant conferences list and environment & Sustainability-related events.
- Preparing for all the needed presentations, and Technical environmental & Sustainability documents.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Min Years of experience: 5 years of experience in sustainability, environmental management, or a related field.
- Training / Certificate preferred: Environment/waste management / Sustainability.
- Computer Skills: Excellent
- Knowledge of instructional methods and training techniques.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of statistics, data collection, and analysis.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of sustainability standards and certifications (e.g., ISO 14001, LEED).
