Job Description
- Review and interpret tender documentation to extract technical requirements.
- Lead the production of detailed shop drawings, ensuring alignment with project scope and design intent.
- Coordinate closely with the design and commercial teams to support project delivery.
- Propose efficient detailing and value engineering options in collaboration with the team.
- Supervise and guide mid-level Architect on technical standards and ID drawing quality.
- Participate in design discussions and provide input on constructability and material use.
- Ensure drawing documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with company standards.
- Maintain ID drawing schedules and assist in regular reporting cycles.
- Collaborate with the site and QAQC teams to ensure fidelity of design during construction.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture.
- 6+ years of professional experience in CAD drafting within the interior fit-out or design industry.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit, SketchUp, or other 3D tools is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of construction techniques, materials, technical detailing, and BOQs.
- Proven experience in producing and reviewing complex technical drawing packages.
- Ability to lead coordination with remote teams and manage drawing workflows.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
- Experience working with or reporting to remote teams is preferred.
