Join our story and create your own impact by developing your expertise and building solutions that help make our lives safer, smarter and more sustainable.Join our Services_EMEA team within Services division in Qatar as Field Service Engineer (compressors) to help us take Services Middle East to the next level.Sulzer Middle East is looking for a field service engineer, with strong experience of centrifugal compressors responsible for the overhaul, repair, installation & commissioning of rotating equipment to support our clients based in Qatar.The Main responsibilities entails:Provision of safe and effective site and workshop overhaul, repair, installation and commissioning services for all rotating equipmentBe the first point of contact for allocated customers in respect of any issues relating to agreed on-site scopes of workDevelop strong relationships with key client contactsBe responsible for on-site Health & SafetyCompile on-site Risk Assessments for scopes of work.Lead and supervise on-site repair teams during site contract execution.Provide continuous improvement in repair, installation and commissioning activitiesDevelop and maintain good and effective relationships with clients to optimise further service opportunitiesLiaise with technical departments within Sulzer to develop engineering solutionsManage relevant suppliers and subcontractorsCompilation of comprehensive site reports in line with company quality management systemParticipate and actively support company initiativesTo succeed in this role, you will need:Engineering technical qualification10 years’ experience of installation and commissioning activity related to centrifugal compressors and other rotating equipmentExperience of assembly, operation and testing of compressors and other rotating equipmentGeneral computer skills (MS office)Experience working in the Middle EastAbility to read and comprehend engineering drawings and data.If you’re a certified mechanical engineer, with proven expertise in Compressors and driving continuous improvement across maintenance services and repair, take the next step and make the most of your skills by joining us.Location: The position is based in Doha, Qatar.
