Job Description

Position DescriptionThe Key Account Manager will be responsible and accountable to drive the Life Science business in Saudi Arabia – Direct Accounts, develop the market and grow the sales of the LS products.As an Account Manager of Life Sciences you will be responsible to: Promote and sell QIAGEN Life Sciences portfolio in the academia and governmental institutes across the country.Build up the required connections network (KOLs) within the region and develop the relationships with current QIAGEN clients.Customer Management, visits, plans, strategies, strategic deals, satisfaction, business securing, open new doors for the new products matching QIAGEN KPI’s and objectives.Implement all the plans and strategies communicated by the management.Achieve the Marketing and Sales financial objectives.Utilize the CRM system of the company to increase Sales Intelligence, create the needed data base and funnel management.Prove the max alignment with the other support–Cross–functional units properly ensuring delivery best of the results.Establish market analysis study and accounts mapping.Prepare the Annual Budget, Action Plans and Business Development initiatives by utilizing the implemented tools of the company.Run business review meetings and calls, strategies alignment, technical support, solve financial issues, and guarantee to deliver the required results in view of the placed budget.Plan and execute the new products launching in the territory.Constructively handle all clients complaints and after sales requirements. Position Requirements Master's degree in molecular biology or molecular genetics is preferred.BSc degree with minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a life science filed.High knowledge in molecular biology; DNA & RNA sample preparation, (q)PCR products, digital PCR Technology, PCR Set-up and liquid handling, Quality Control & Fragment Analysis and Next Generation Sequencing.  Sales experience in Life Science business in Saudi Arabia especially universities.Strong experience in the sales operation.Strong desire to win business and establish long-term customer relationships.Excellent Communications skills.Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.Self-motivated and self-driven with the ability to work in a team.Ability to travel time > 70% of the working time.Expert in using CRM systems i.e. Salesforce.comAdvance knowledge and experience with budgeting and forecasting processes.Negotiation skillsDetailed oriented and strong organizational skills.Data analysis skills.Ability to solve practical job-related problems.
