Purpose of the role


Being part of the regional PCV management team, your duties will include the strategic management of the PCV product lines in the region. This will include activities that provide sales and service leadership to staff in the area, technical knowledge, and support of process, mechanical, operational, maintenance perspective. The focus is to increase market share by pursuing new market opportunities and promote the retention of aftermarket business within the region.


Your responsibilities


Responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to:


  • Building and Implementing PCV strategy with Area Sales Director within the ME-NA Market Area.


  • Controlling and Following Capital and Service Sales Activities.


  • Cooperate with Mining Capital team form mid- and long-term projects.


  • Preparing complete technical and commercial Project/tender documents.


  • Create and Develop Key Accounts.


  • Execute Fiscal Year PCV Financial Targets.


  • Supplying Feedback to Product Line for R&D Development


What you bring


  • NHD, BSC or B-Eng in Engineering


  • At least 5 years’ experience within the mining & mineral processing industry.


  • At least 3 - 5 years’ experience in the PCV product line.


  • At least 2 - 4 years’ experience in a business development role.


  • At least 3 years’ as a departmental leader.


  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English. Proficiency in other languages, spoken by customers in the region, will be advantageous.


  • Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, co-workers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders.


  • Proven negotiation and influencing skills – both external and internal.


  • Team player, able to balance multiple team memberships.                       


  • Good organization, multitasking and time management skills.


  • Ability to size and select PC&V equipment, identify problems on site with pump and cyclone systems, understand basic wear patterns, know how each process variable effects the system and implement optimizations of pump and cyclone systems.


  • Customer relationship management system experience,


  • Business ERP systems experience, Accpac, CRM, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP etc.


  • Experience in service center, inventory, and warehouse management will be advantageous.


  • Previous P&L management experience will be advantageous.


  • Experience as a technology supplier to the mining and mineral processing industry is essential.
