Job Description

Product Strategy: Develop and execute product strategies in line with market trends, customer needs, and company goals. Conduct market research to identify potential product opportunities and gaps in the market. Cost and Budget Management: Work closely with procurement and finance teams to establish product cost targets and manage the development budget. Identify opportunities for cost optimization without compromising product quality. Supplier and Vendor Management: Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and vendors for components, materials, and manufacturing processes. 6. Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery, quality, and competitive pricing. Market Launch: Develop launch plans and collaborate with marketing and sales teams to create product positioning, messaging, and promotional materials. Manage sales teams with product training and provide technical expertise to customers as needed. Product Lifecycle Management: Monitor product performance in the market and gather customer feedback to identify areas for improvement or new product iterations. Evaluate product lifecycle stages and make recommendations regarding product updates, enhancements, or discontinuation. Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on industry regulations and standards related to automotive parts. Ensure product compliance with applicable regulations, safety standards, and environmental requirements. Team Leadership: Lead a team of engineers and other professionals involved in product development. Provide guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback to team members. Requirements1. To excel in this role, you should have a strong background in automotive engineering, product development, and project management. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, along with a deep understanding of the automotive spare parts market, are essential. Effective communication and leadership abilities are also crucial for collaborating with crossfunctional teams and driving product development initiatives. MS / BS degree in Engineering (Automotive mechanical engineering is preferred) 10 years of experience at least in the same position
