Role Overview:The role also requires the incumbent to support in monitoring and strategic analytics that provide meaningful interpretation and narration of credit risk, leading to actionable conclusions and fact-based decisions in the management of portfolio shape and concentrations to achieve profit targets and to enable responsible book growth and managementProduce monthly reports for the Portfolio Quality Review to track portfolio movements and key risk metricsMonitor customer stress and key concentration risk metricsProduce analytics to identify and mitigate credit risk within the portfolioAnalyse the impact of the current macro-economy, book growth, and bank initiatives on the credit health of the portfolio and the achievement of risk appetite.Diagnose root causes of concerns raised in observed book behaviourIdentify opportunities to support and optimise responsible book growth and credit risk managementSkills & Qualifications:Proficiency in SAS (Base, Enterprise Guide or Viya), SAS EMiner advantageousAdvanced MS ExcelUnderstanding of credit risk and related statistical modellingAnalytical and creative problem-solving skillsCritical thinkingLearning agilityGood communicationTime management and expectation managementStrong work ethicIntrinsically motivated
