Estimation Engineer

Overview:Marmi Engineering Co. W.L.L. is seeking a meticulous and experienced Estimation Engineer to join our team. This role involves preparing accurate estimates for projects by gathering information and analyzing important metrics. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of project management and budgeting.Key Responsibilities:Estimate Preparation:Prepare detailed cost estimates by analyzing plans and specifications and identifying and quantifying costs.Assess cost effectiveness of products, projects or services, tracking actual costs relative to bids as the project develops.Project Analysis:Consult with clients, vendors, personnel in other departments, or construction foremen to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.Conduct site visits and gather information to facilitate accurate estimate preparation.Bid Preparation:Prepare and submit bid proposals to clients, ensuring all bids are accurate and submitted on time.Collaborate with the design team, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive estimates.Market Analysis:Analyze market trends and report on emerging materials costs, labor rates, and other factors that may impact project costs.Maintain awareness of latest techniques in construction, materials, and equipment to incorporate into project estimates.Documentation and Reporting:Maintain detailed records of project documentation including estimates, calculations, and correspondence with clients and suppliers.Prepare reports detailing the cost, quality, and time frames of proposed projects for management review.Collaboration and Communication:Work closely with engineers, architects, clients, and contractors on estimates.Communicate effectively with project stakeholders about financial aspects and implications of projects.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.Proven experience as an Estimation Engineer or in a similar role in the construction industry.Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and market trends.Proficient with estimation software and MS Office Suite.Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.Strong communication and negotiation skills.Application Process:Submit Your Application: Apply via our online careers portal with your CV and a tailored cover letter.Review and Shortlisting: Our team will review applications to select candidates.Interview Process: Shortlisted candidates will undergo interviews to discuss their experience and suitability.Offer: Successful candidates will be made a formal job offer to join our team.
