Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Supervision Architect Engineer with a specialization in restoration projects, possessing a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience. As a Restoration Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the supervision and management of restoration initiatives, ensuring compliance with design standards, regulatory requirements, and project specifications. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, leadership abilities, and a passion for preserving and revitalizing historic structures.


Responsibilities:


  • Lead the supervision and management of restoration projects, overseeing all phases of project execution from planning to completion.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors, fostering collaboration and ensuring alignment with project goals.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies, providing regular updates, addressing concerns, and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Implement rigorous quality control measures to ensure that restoration work meets industry standards, regulatory requirements, and client specifications.
  • Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress, identify potential issues, and ensure compliance with project plans and specifications.
  • Monitor project budgets, schedules, and resources, identifying variances and implementing corrective actions to maintain project objectives and financial targets.
  • Provide technical guidance and expertise in restoration techniques, materials, and methodologies, addressing technical challenges and design conflicts as they arise.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, meeting minutes, and project correspondence, to support project accountability and transparency.
  • Identify potential risks and challenges associated with restoration projects, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively address issues to minimize disruptions and delays.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning regulations, historic preservation guidelines, and other applicable laws and regulations governing restoration projects.

Minimum Requirements:


  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.
  • Professional licensure as an Architect or Engineer (PE) is required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in architectural design and project supervision, with a focus on restoration projects.
  • Strong technical expertise in restoration techniques, materials, and methodologies, with a demonstrated track record of successful project delivery.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and other relevant design tools.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, historic preservation guidelines, and other regulatory requirements applicable to restoration projects.
  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is desirable.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Flexibility to travel to project sites and attend meetings as required.
