L2 NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR

Responsibilities:Configure, install, and maintain network hardware, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues using network monitoring tools.Implement and manage network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access controls.Perform regular network maintenance tasks, such as firmware upgrades, patch management, and backups.Assist in the design and implementation of network architecture and topology.Collaborate with IT teams to implement network infrastructure changes and upgrades.Provide technical support and guidance to Level 1 support staff and end-users.Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.Participate in on-call rotation and respond to network emergencies outside of regular business hours as needed.Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to network administration.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.Minimum of 3 years of experience in network administration roles.Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting network equipment from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, and Palo Alto Networks.Strong understanding of networking protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, VLANs, OSPF, BGP, VPN, and MPLS.Experience with network monitoring and management tools, such as SolarWinds, Wireshark, and Nagios.Knowledge of network security principles and best practices.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent are preferred.Vertical:Technology
