Prepare drawings according to the technical Manager, operate the CAD system, and produce clear and technically accurate drawings based on design specifications. Prepare a 3D model of steel structures.ResponsibilitiesPerform the assigned duties as per the set policies and procedures in order to achieve the department's goals.Check drawings as per the project requirements before the official submission.Work from drawings, sketches or scanned images, customer drawings, or government drawings or specifications.Keep accurate records of all drawing submittals.Prepare a 3D model and MTO of the steel structure.Prepare and release erection and fabrication drawings.Prepare material list and part list of the release package.Attend technical meetings with the Technical Manager.Work from rough sketches and specifications created by engineers and architects and specify dimensions, materials, and procedures for implementation.Design plans using computer-aided design and drafting (CAD) software.Draft and prepare layout drawings of the given structures, components, and devices.Prepare and revise drawings, details, sections, charts, and any similar documents as directed.Prepare a shop drawing list and submit it to the direct manager on a daily time basis.Prepare drawing index on a monthly time basis.Requirements5 years of experience using AutoCAD & handling structural / Architectural drawings.6-7 years experience in the field of Construction.
