Job Description

Purpose & Overall Relevance For The OrganizationThis role is responsible for managing pre-season and in-season Planning & Buying for Own Ecom platforms. In this role you are part of a team responsible for maximizing the sales, profitability & brand equity of the EMC (Emerging Markets Central) region by building the merchandising strategy for the market to drive the Ecommerce businessKey ResponsibilitiesWork with Buying Manager (Ecommerce Channel) and Director Merchandising EMC in executing EMC DTC merchandising goals and drive execution of DTC StrategyDeliver financial targets including Net sales, Sell through, Standard Margin, Closing stockContribute to pre-season planning including Open-To-Buy (OTB) plan, pre-season product planning, option planning and ranging to build & drive the Ecom merchandising visionBased on the OTB and the assortment plan, make the buying forecast ensuring consistency with the marketing strategy and historical dataOwn the process of ranging, execution and assortment planning strategies for Ecommerce platform across EMC (Emerging Markets Central) regionCreate size breakdowns according to market needs and incorporated in the buying process for eComParticipate in major go-to-market milestones to gain insight to key seasonal brand and BU strategies and initiatives including them in the eCom outlookPresent the buy check for sign-off by DTC/Ecommerce leadsDrive weekly trade reports to optimize in-season trading opportunitiesExcellent excel proficiencies with the ability to devise macro’s, develop and elevate buying processes through efficient excel reporting.Key RelationshipsRegional: Digital EM teams - Merchandising, Data Analytics, Digital Operations, MDM, Consumer ExperienceLocal: DTC, BUs, CTC, Marketing Activation, Finance/Controlling, Demand PlanningKnowledge, Skills And AbilitiesUnderstanding of digital business with commercial mindset, ideally with knowledge of merchandising, financial planning, sales strategies, digital marketing, or online behaviorGood understanding of Retail Management processes & systemsCreative and clear passion for product and sportsStrong communication skillsStrong leadership skillsStrong influencer and natural collaboratorHolistic thinker – establish and drive end-to-end strategies and initiatives encompassing multiple functionsProficiency on MS Office Applications Excel, Word, Outlook and Power PointKnowledge in Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, MicroStrategy, Power BI or other tools is a plusAbility to write reports, business correspondenceAbility to speak, read and write in English fluently.Requisite Education And Experience / Minimum QualificationsUniversity degree in Buying, Product Design, Fashion Design, Retail Management, Business Management, ideally with Marketing and Sales focus or equivalent professional experienceExperience in e-Commerce of at least 2 yearsMinimum 5 Years total merchandising experience
