Senior Investments Analyst

Job PurposeJobs at this level are responsible for supporting treasury activities, driving alignment of financial assets and funding requirements to overall financial plans and goals, reconciling fund transactions and conducting cash flow analysis. Also, they are responsible for supporting the development of financial modelling interfaces with the IT Sector to increase efficiencies of financial processes.Job ResponsibilityKey ResponsibilitiesTreasuryPerform routine activities within the specified scope.Comply and follow financial policies and procedures and ensures that the assigned tasks are carried out consistently and in accordance with the guidelines specified.Execute moderately complex treasury activities in an accurate manner to ensure that STC’s financial assets and funding requirements are aligned with STC’s financial plans and goals.Conduct cash flow analysis using defined financial models required to forecast cash positions and future cash needs.Reconcile fund transactions, produces internal accounting reports and drives treasury operations to ensure integrity of work.Suggest improvements for the control and management of financial data to improve accurate management of STC’s funds.Support the development of financial modelling interfaces with the IT Sector to increase efficiencies of financial processes.Help with routine work and escalates issues, as necessary.Liaise within the assigned team to build effective working relationships.Support in the documentation of the exposures taken by STC including assessing financial risks associated with Interest, FX, Counterparty, liquidity and cash investments.Assist in the data collation on the current and past performance of the hedge positions taken by STC.Job Responsibility (Cont.)Years Of Experience2-4 YearsNature Of ExperienceExperience in financial planning and investment at technology/telecommunication industry.Job BandProfessionalSkillsEducationBachelor Degree in FinanceAdditional EducationCertificationsCA or equivalent
