Legal Counsel - PSP
Our client is one of the top payment solution providers in the MENA region. As a Legal Counsel, you will support the General Counsel in all legal matters within the company, including compliance, drafting and creation of legal documents, and handling negotiations and litigation.

Our client is one of the top payment solution providers in the MENA region. As a Legal Counsel, you will support the General Counsel in all legal matters within the company, including compliance, drafting and creation of legal documents, and handling negotiations and litigation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Offer legal guidance and assistance to colleagues and senior management concerning various legal and compliance issues.
- Assist the General Counsel in drafting legal documents and conducting reviews of contracts.
- Collaborate closely with the GC to guarantee the company's corporate governance is appropriately structured.
- Assess, negotiate, and draft a variety of commercial contracts such as partnerships, service agreements, and vendor contracts.
- Handle legal disputes, including litigation, negotiations, and settlements, to resolution.
- Ensure effective protection of the company's intellectual property and promptly address any infringements.
- Develop and implement legal policies and procedures to ensure the company's compliance with the law.
- Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations affecting the company and offer guidance to senior management and the board when necessary.
- Coordinate with external legal counsel to optimize the benefits from these relationships.
Requirements
- Emirati nationals ONLY.
- Bachelor's degree in Law, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of PQE as a Legal Counsel/Assistant.
- Solid understanding of legal policies and laws, and compliance requirements.
