Job Description

We seek a highly organized and detail-oriented Government Relations Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing government relations, particularly in the real estate development sector. The Government Relations Officer will facilitate communication between our organization and various government agencies, ensure compliance with regulations, and manage all aspects of property registration and ownership change processes.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Property Registration and Ownership Change:


   - Oversee all aspects of property registration processes via government portals and platforms.


   - Manage ownership change procedures, including sale cancellations, settlement agreements, and technical data registration for project re-registration.


   - Facilitate the processing of payments for government fees through relevant channels.


2. Government Relations:


   - Maintain effective communication with key stakeholders, including government agencies such as DLD, RERA, DDA, DCD, DEWA, and RTA.


   - Stay updated on regulations, process changes, and circulars issued by relevant government authorities.


   - Provide timely updates and information on requirements and criteria to internal team members.


3. Compliance and Governance:


   - Support in conducting visibility studies to ensure compliance and governance standards are met.


   - Assist in reconciliation processes to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.


4. Collaboration and Coordination:


   - Work closely with internal project teams to register technical data for new projects and manage reconciliation processes.


   - Please make sure with appointed survey companies to facilitate the registration of technical project data.


5. Documentation and Reporting:


   - Maintain accurate records of payments, settlement agreements, and property registration activities.


   - Prepare utilization reports and payment records for internal documentation and reporting purposes.
