Commercial Finance Controller - Europe & Middle East

ROLE PURPOSE:Responsible for providing support in financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting. This role assists in collaborating with regional teams, monitoring financial performance, and contributing to financial decision-making within the region.RESPONSIBILITIES:Financial Analysis: Support conducting financial analysis to evaluate the financial impact of commercial decisions and development of regional financial models/ forecasts.Budgeting and Forecasting: Aid in the creation of regional budgets and sales forecasts in collaboration with the finance team. Assist in monitoring performance against budgets and forecasts and report variances.Cost Control: Monitoring cost of regional office, implement cost control measures to improve financial efficiency.Financial Reporting: Support the preparation of regional financial reports for senior management. Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with accounting standards.Provide support to the regional finance team in various tasks and projects.Pricing Strategy Support: Assist in the implementation of regional pricing strategies, ensuring alignment with financial goals.Consolidate and analyze financial data from various regional entities, ensuring accuracy and integrity of information.Collaborate with regional business units and departments to understand their financial needs.Ad hoc tasks under the scope of the department.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s degree - Finance /Accounting, ACCA/ CIMA or equivalent5 years - Pharmaceuticals, FMCG in controlling Function.Previous experience in FP&A, working with OPEX and SG&A desirable.TECHNICAL SKILLS:Excel - AdvancedPower point - MediumERP - Good working knowledge (SAP, TM1, Power BI preferable)KEY ATTRIBUTES:Information seekingActive listeningEthical conductBusiness analysis and financial skillsInformal communication skillsHigh standardsProactiveTeam player Technical / professional knowledgeResults oriented.Value peopleHonestyASPEN COMPETENCIES:BUSINESSAccountability / OwnershipPerformance DrivenPEOPLECommunicate EffectivelyCapacity for and resistance to StressSELFContinuously Grow & DevelopTakes action with integrity.#KJ
