Midwife (Abu Dhabi based role)

OverviewResponsible for delivering direct patient care utilizing the nursing process, to include assessment, implementation and evaluation of care required of the assigned patients.Promotes and restores patients' health by establishment of a plan of care and educating patients and their families about their conditions.Collaborates with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; providing physical and psychological support to patients and families.Responsible in the provision of quality nursing care by maintaining accurate records in the EMR and in the maintenance of professional standards as per DoH Scope of Practice, through continuing education and development.Responsible for the orientation and induction training of new, junior Registered Nurses, Practical Nurses and Healthcare Assistants.Accountable for ensuring all services rendered are consistent with their education and assessed competence, meet legislative requirements and are supported by appropriate standards.Understands, supports and promotes the mission, vision, and values of organization.EducationBachelor’s Degree in Midwifery from an Accredited School of Nursing/UniversityORBachelor’s Degree in Nursing with additional Midwifery qualificationProfessional Experience Required (Relevant to the Job)Minimum 2 years post Midwifery qualification experience
