JOB DESCRIPTION:
- The Business Development Executive for our
client (a corporate soft skills training company) plays a crucial role in
identifying and pursuing opportunities for growth and revenue generation.
Reporting to the Business Development Manager, this role involves a combination
of sales, marketing, and relationship-building skills to promote the company's
training services to potential clients.
- Market Research and Analysis: Stay updated
on industry trends, competitors, and market dynamics. Identify potential
clients and market segments that would benefit from soft skills training.
- Lead Generation: Develop strategies to generate leads,
such as cold calling, email marketing, attending industry events, and
networking. Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients.
- Sales and Client Acquisition: Reach out to
potential clients, engage in sales presentations, and negotiate contracts.
Effectively communicate the value proposition of the company's training
services.
- Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with clients
and key decision-makers. Provide excellent customer service to ensure client
satisfaction and repeat business.
- Customized Solutions: Work closely with clients to understand
their specific soft skills training needs. Tailor training solutions to meet
those needs effectively.
- Proposal Development: Prepare and present proposals, including
cost estimates and timelines, to potential clients. Collaborate with the
internal team to create compelling proposals.
- Partnerships and Alliances: Explore partnership
opportunities with other organizations that can complement the company's
offerings or expand its reach.
- Marketing and Promotion: Assist in the
development of marketing materials, such as brochures, websites, and social
media content. Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional

- Sales Metrics and Reporting: Track and
analyze sales metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the
effectiveness of sales strategies. Provide regular reports to the management
team.
- Client Feedback: Gather feedback from clients to
continually improve training programs and services. Address any concerns or
issues promptly.
- Training Program Knowledge: Maintain a strong
understanding of the company's soft skills training programs and stay updated
on industry best practices.
- Budget Management: Manage and adhere to budgets allocated
for sales and business development activities.
- Sales Forecasting: Develop sales forecasts and strategies
for meeting revenue targets.
- Legal and Contractual Knowledge: Understand contract terms and legal
requirements related to client agreements.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated on developments in the field
of soft skills training and corporate learning to remain competitive and
innovative.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND CHARACTERISTICS:
- Experience
with telesales closing deals for a product or service industry.
- A proven
track record of achieving sales targets with evidence to support.
- Good
knowledge of the human resources industry (Specifically Learning &
Development).
- Positive
mental attitude.
- Highly

key account management skills.
- Bachelor’s
degree in any discipline.
