Job Description

Food People are recruiting for a Managing Director of a multi-branded restaurants group in Saudi Arabia, you will be responsible for leading the strategic direction and growth of the business. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the organisation, driving unprecedented success in the restaurant sector. Our client is seeking a dynamic and visionary leader who can empower and motivate their team to achieve operational excellence and unparalleled guest experiences. Additionally, you will be tasked with elevating the companies franchise and own brands market presence, fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders and influencers to enhance our competitive edge and market penetration. KEY RESPONSIBILITIESLead the development and implementation of the company's strategic vision, goals, and objectives. Identify growth opportunities and develop strategic plans to capitalise on them. Drive the overall success and profitability of the organisation.Oversee all aspects of the company's operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and consistency across multiple units and brands. Implement best practices and standard operating procedures to optimise performance and maximise profitability.Inspire, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of executives, managers, and staff members. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Provide guidance and support to enable team members to achieve their full potential.Champion culinary excellence and innovation within the organisation. Collaborate with executive chefs and culinary teams to develop unique and compelling menus that resonate with guests and differentiate our brands in the market.Prioritise the delivery of exceptional guest experiences across all restaurant locations. Monitor guest feedback and satisfaction metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance overall guest satisfaction and loyalty.Develop and execute comprehensive branding and marketing strategies to elevate the company's brand and market presence. Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, suppliers, and industry influencers.Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and resource allocation to ensure the financial health and sustainability of the organization. Monitor financial performance and key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive revenue growth and profitability. KEY INGREDIENTSBachelor’s degree in hospitality management from a reputed institution, MBA is a plusMinimum of 20 years of progressive experience in hospitality, of which at least 7 years in senior executive role(s)Significant experience as an executive manager of a multi-unit & multi-brand group of restaurantsPrevious experience in the GCC is a must; KSA experience is a huge plusExcellent communication, leadership, and motivational skills Excellent planning, organisational, and multitasking skillsCritical thinking mindsetIn tune with technology and driven by continued innovationEnglish language experience is essential and Arabic is preferred.
