From these locations BSMEA covers 68 markets.Main responsibilities & key activities:This role will be in the Retail Department reporting directly to the Retail Operations Area Team Leader.Infrastructure Management:Oversee the day-to-day operation of the organization's IT infrastructure.Manage and maintain servers, storage, and networking equipment.Ensure the availability, reliability, and performance of IT systems.System Administration:Administer and support various operating systems (e.g., Windows).Install, configure, and maintain software applications and updates.Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.Network Management:Manage and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.Implement and maintain network security measures.Monitor network performance and optimize for efficiency.IT Security:Implement and maintain security protocols and measures to protect against unauthorized access and cyber threats.Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.Backup and Disaster Recovery:Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery plans.Regularly test and update disaster recovery procedures.User Support:Provide technical support to end-users and resolve IT-related issues.Assist in the onboarding and training of new employees on IT systems.Documentation:Create and maintain documentation for IT systems, processes, and procedures.Keep inventory records of hardware and software assets.Collaboration:Collaborate with other IT professionals, including developers and system architects, to ensure seamless integration of systems.Qualifications :Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Proven experience in IT operations, system administration, or a related role.Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and security.Proficiency in system and network administration tools.Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Relevant certifications (Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator) are a plus.Bridgestone Behaviors:Qualified candidates need to demonstrate the following behaviours:Agility – to work in a matrix, complex and fast paced environment.Courage – to share ideas, challenge the status quo.
