Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market.Job DescriptionRoles and ResponsibilitiesResponsible to ensure all statutory regulatory filings are completed timely, efficiently and in compliance with the country regulatory requirements. This includes branches, legal entities and statutory consolidations from outside the US, as well as the management of the statutory audit process where applicable.Developing in-depth knowledge of a discipline. Uses prior experience and acquired expertise to execute functional policy/strategy.A job at this level is likely to be an individual contributor, with proven interpersonal skills. Communication with direct colleagues and the business about design and coordination services rendered. Provides informal guidance to new team members. May use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration or equivalent international degree.Proven experience including statutory reporting expertise.Demonstrated experience and understanding of tax and compliance processes and requirements.People/Staff management expertise.Strong command in English and Arabic.Prior work experience in Middle East Turkey & Africa region.Proficiency in MS Suite.Prior audit experience at big four or international big four auditor’s firm.Able to travel 10% in their work schedule in region.Desired CharacteristicsCPA or equivalent other accounting graduate preferred.Experience in Power Generation industry expertise.Good oral and written communication skills.Good Interpersonal and leadership skills.Ability to work in a global matrix team environment.Good planning and organizational skills.Must be a self-starter, team player, work well with others and have a positive attitude.Must be a creative thinker, results oriented, focused, and attentive to detail and accuracy.Additional InformationRelocation Assistance Provided: No
