Senior Internal Auditor (Projects)

Job Description: Modern Building Leaders Co (MBL), a leading company in the construction industry, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Internal Auditor (Projects) to join its team. The Internal Auditor will be responsible for conducting audits at project sites, preparing comprehensive reports, collecting samples, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a strong background in auditing construction companies and a minimum of 5 years of experience as a senior internal auditor. Responsibilities:Conduct internal audits at project sites to assess compliance with company policies and procedures.Perform risk assessments and identify areas for improvement.Collect samples and perform detailed analyses to ensure accuracy and adherence to standards.Prepare comprehensive audit reports with findings, recommendations, and corrective action plans.Collaborate with project teams to address any identified issues and monitor the implementation of corrective actions.Stay up to date with industry regulations and best practices related to internal audit in the construction sector.Provide guidance and support to project teams on internal control processes and risk management.Collaborate with external auditors, as necessary, to facilitate the completion of audits. Requirements:Minimum of 5 years of experience as an internal auditor *in the construction industry*.Knowledge of internal control frameworks and risk management principles. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency in Arabic is a plus.Big Four experience is a plus.Professional certifications such as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Certified Construction Auditor (CCA) are desirable.
