We are seeking a Production Supervisor to join the team of Sigma Engineering Works, part of Mazrui Energy Services.Location - Abu Dhabi, UAESigma Engineering Works, a company of Mazrui Energy Services is an engineering service company, offering fabrication, manufacturing, service & repair, and other services to the energy industry.Ideal candidate will be responsible to effectively manage the daily manufacturing and production requirements of the workshop including Machine shop, fitting shop, welding and fabrication, painting shop and maintenance shop. The successful candidate will lead and motivate the workshop Chargehands, Technicians and drive continuous improvement and cost saving initiatives across the range of activities. ResponsibilitiesSupervise daily production operations to ensure efficient and timely production of goods.Monitor production schedules and adjust them as needed to meet customer demand.Set daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicate them to employees.Organize workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules.Achieve the company and customer’s On Time Delivery OTD Targets above 90%Achieve the operational efficiency First Pass Yield FPY above 90% Oversee and coach employees.Ensure the safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance.Check production output according to specifications.Submit reports on performance and progress.Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements.Train new employees on how to safely use machinery and follow procedures.Enforce strict safety guidelines and company standards.Accomplishes manufacturing results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counselling, and disciplining employees; and initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.Completes production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel, accomplishing work results, establishing priorities, monitoring progress, achieving schedules, resolving problems, and reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries.Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing production standards.Ensures operation of equipment by calling for repairs and evaluating new equipment and techniques.Provides manufacturing information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analysing production performance records and data, and answering questions and responding to requests.Apply, monitor, and control new methodologies and systems to help improving continuously the production activities and output. Maintain WIP and Present monthly production report and utilization report to ManagementQualificationsEducation - Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical EngineeringRelevant years of experience as Production Supervisor or similar role.Knowledge in HSE workplace health and safetyStrong communication skillsIf this sounds like you, please apply to this job.
