Job description:ISI MEA Quality MANAGER, CAIRO – JOB description Definition: Ensures success of the Cairo site through Quality Assurance, on pre-sales, program and project activities.Responsible for implementing the Quality strategy, policies, processes, standards and systems within the site. Overall purpose of the Role Responsible for ensuring that all activities within the site meet quality standards required to minimize quality costs and maximize customer satisfaction whilst ensuring that procedures and processes are adhered to. Responsible for identifying and escalating quality issues and for speedily contributing to resolving them to ensure minimal impact to the customer. Responsible for deploying locally the quality management system (QMS) established by corporate teams. Work in a team environment to develop and implement best practices that emphasize defect prevention, reduction in variation and waste and provide for continuous improvements in meeting all customer requirements. Work mostly independently with minimal supervision and work is reviewed at project milestones and/or on completion by Management. Key Responsibilities General and Task ManagementPromote the Voice of Customer within site organization and related stakeholdersWork with internal and external stakeholders to support the resolution of quality issues that arise as quickly and efficiently as possible to prevent compromising quality and safety standardsProvide support to root cause analysis and help identifying permanent corrective actions for quality issuesPromote and train operationals and management on problem solving tools (8D, Ishikawa, 5-Whys, Fault-tree-analysis …)Provide guidance to the operationals on the items of the Quality Management System (QMS) applicable to their scope (process, tools, templates) in order to develop adherence to the QMS, and thus efficiencyEnsure compliance to the QMS through sampling and on-job auditsReview pre-sales, programs and projects documentationSupport the pre-sales, programs and project manager in gate review preparationApprove the formal release of customer documentationPromote and provide training on quality awarenessContribute to risks analysisMonitor and report on quality-related issues within program and project portfolioRecommand gate refusal in the event of unacceptable processes/risksContribute to the gap analysis on KPI Deviations on the various department of the regionParticipate in quality auditsOrganize external audits when necessarySupport process improvement activitiesContribute to continuous improvement activitiesUndertake special projects as required PEOPLE MANAGEMENTTrain people within regional organization Relationship managementCommunicate efficiently throughout the region and with Quality managementLiaise and communicate with other departments, customers, suppliers and other service providers SELF MANAGEMENTAssertive, resilient and welcomes changeEngages interest and participation of others and has a collaborative approach to working with othersProactively contributes to the teamActively committed to teams developmentIs self-awareShows moral courage, openness and honesty in all dealingsIndependently determine approach and assigned tasks Skills & Attributes Knowledge of ISO9001Understanding of ISO14001 and ISO45001Knowledge of lean-sigma methodologies (Green Belt certification is a plus)Ability to work in a diverse and dynamic environmentPlanning and prioritizing activitiesGood communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to present data effectivelyStrong problem-solving and analytical skills (5W, Ishikawa)Team working skillsUnderstanding of cost and financial impactsAbility to work on own initiativeGood understanding of customer deliverables and the impact of failure/cost of poor qualityEnglish writing and speaking (French is a plus).
