OverviewThe opportunityThe Technical Writer is accountable for helping the business with the development and preparation of technical documentation, guides, training materials etc. that is accurate, clear, concise, and easy to understand. This is a newly established role and comes with great potential for making a direct contribution with challenging responsibilities. As part of a process management team, the technical writer will report to the team manager and will work closely with process owners and the ITSM Tooling team.Core42 is the UAE’s national-scale enabler for cloud and generative AI, combining G42 Group’s expertise across multiple technology disciplines into a single platform for public sector and large enterprise transformations. Building on our capabilities as sovereign cloud and HPC specialist, we bring generative AI, cybersecurity, professional and managed services expertise to enable national-scale program deployments across industrie s.Responsibilities Work with subject matter experts to create and update technical documentation, including user manuals, installation guides, release notes, and online help. Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of our products and services, and effectively communicate technical information to various audiences. Use excellent presentation design skills to create visually appealing and effective presentations that communicate complex technical concepts. Edit and proofread technical documentation to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to established standards and style guides. Create and maintain templates, style guides, and other documentation tools to ensure consistency and efficiency in documentation creation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and incorporate feedback on technical documentation. Stay current with industry trends and best practices in technical writing and documentation. Work with product teams to turn draft content into well-organized, easy-to-read documentation. Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferably in computer science or a related technical field. Minimum 3 years of demonstrated track record of experience in writing technical documentation, supported by examples to share. Ability to communicate technical concepts and product capabilities to technical and non-technical audiences clearly. Excellent written and verbal English communication and interpersonal skills Strong presentation design skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. Knowledge of technical writing standards and style guides. Ideally, you’ll also have Knowledge of Cloud terminology.
