The successful candidate will assist the direct supervisor in meeting all financial figures required by the job. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices, be good with numbers and figures, and possess an analytical acumen.What you'll be doing: Posting and processing journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded Updating accounts receivable and issuing invoices Updating accounts payable and issuing POs Performing daily bank reconciliations Assisting with reviewing expenses Updating financial data in databases to ensure information is accurate and immediately available when needed Preparing and submitting weekly/monthly reports Assisting senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings Assisting with other accounting projects as neededWhat you'll need: Proven experience as a junior accountant Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices Good with numbers and figures and an analytical acumen Excellent knowledge of MS Office. Experience with Visual Dolphin is a plus.
