With a collective strength of 10 brands, we have more than 200 million monthly users that trust in our dedication to providing them with the best platform for their needs.Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Senior Data Analyst, you will be in a central position as you will be evangelising data and our methodologies to other functional analysts and other stakeholders in the company. You will have close interaction with teams in marketing, sales, finance, and product. You will work in a high pace environment that is professional, international and entrepreneurial.In this role, you will:Access data, constructing and manipulating large datasets to support planned analyses, using SQL, Python and similar toolsDesign and develop BI dashboards using Sisense or similar tools (Tableau, PowerBI, DataStudio) for various organizational metrics and indicators using best practices and industry standards in finance, sales, inventory, and other areasConduct full lifecycle analysis to include requirements, activities and design.Define KPIs metrics and drive the data governance through standardisation and communicationExtract data and share it with stakeholders using Dashboards/Reports or Google Sheets, mentor and review similar reports work of more junior membersCreate the documentation and presentation for the managementDevelop analysis and reporting capabilities; monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements.Adapt at queries, report writing and presenting findingsResearch and validation of entity data using appropriate internal and external data sourcesValidating entity reference data in a central account databaseException management reconciliation and reportingLiaising and analysis across projects within the Reference Data environmentAnalysis, specification, testing and implementation of interfaces, workflow solutions, and reference data solutions – An example would be regression testing systems ahead of upgradesOwnership of allocated work throughout its entire life cycleDevelop new models to address business needs, as well as identify and implement improvements to existing solutions; projects are diverse and can take several forms (e.g. simulation, linear/non-linear optimization, prediction, machine learning)Participate in the design, implementation and interpretation of experiments/trials for continuous refinement of on-going strategiesBe responsible for data quality and timely delivery of reports that make common business senseCreate and maintain documentation for analytics, tools, and processes to ensure effective transition to end userPrepare and deliver Data Analytics & Reporting trainings to evangelise data across the organisationBe able to work autonomously without supervision on complex projectsMentor junior team members, review and validate their outputRequirementsBachelor’s degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, or related field. Masters is a plus6+ year work experience in analytics, having closely worked with product and commercials in an internet/e-commerce companyExperience in e-commerce, internet and/or digital mediaExperience building, implementing and/or maintaining predictive models on very large datasetsProficient in SQL and Microsoft Excel. Skills in Python, R or similar tools are a big plusKnowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc).Excellent analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to translate data and information into actionable insights and business recommendationsStrong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.Good attention to detail with hands-on attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environmentAnalytical thinking; Conceptual thinking; Detail-oriented; Business Acumen.Living the team values: Simpler.
