About the role


This role is responsible for ensuring that Kerry Saudi Arabia is conducting its business in full compliance with laws and regulations pertaining to compliance and accounting, as well as professional standards, accepted business practices and internal controls.


The accountant will communicate compliance-related issues to employees across all divisions and functions of Kerry Saudi Arabia & helping the business manage risk and build a positive reputation.


The compliance accountant will be a 'hands-on' Financial Business Professional with self-starting capabilities. 


Work Location: 2nd Industrial City – Jeddah 


Reporting To: Country Compliance Controller 


Key responsibilities


Supporting on Indirect & Direct Tax Like Value Added Tax, With holding tax and Corporate tax 


  • Monthly & Quarterly VAT Return preparation.
  • Monthly & Yearly preparation of Withholding tax return.
  • Validating the invoices with VAT & WHT returns.
  • Downloading the invoice for VAT return submission.
  • Yearly working on corporate tax return.
  • Ensure that all statutory filing requirements are met, not limited to Direct & Indirect Taxes, Helping on Transfer Pricing details, Corporate Governance and Regulations.

Import & Export detail reconciliation with Custom Authority


  • Monthly VAT Import report reconciliation as per VAT authority report
  • Yearly Import record reconciliation with custom record
  • Yearly Export record reconciliation with custom record

Handling Banking activity


  • Physical visit to bank for submission of payment documents (CAD) and collection documents from bank. Cash Deposit and Cash withdrawal.
  • Bank payment online initiate (SADAD)
  • Follow up with Business Center, Banks and Local site team for any queries.
  • Swift Copy distribution of SADAD Payment.
  • Other group requirement on treasury & Banking.
  • Managing local online banking system such as non-core bank system as to comply with Group policy and direction.

Qualifications and skills


  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a multinational environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite with SAP knowledge.
  • Mandatory ability to speak, write and read in English & Arabic. Relationship builder, internally and with customers.
  • Understanding the local tax rules and regulations of Saudi Arabia and Dubai.
  • Ability to communicate to people clearly across all levels of the organization.
  • Good technical accounting knowledge, analytical skills, and attention to detail
  • Ability to identify risks to the business and develop and implement plans to minimize business disruption from changes while ensuring that the company remains compliant.
  • Ability to travel to different countries as and when required for Treasury & Banking related meeting &projects.
  • Ability to plan, prioritize and meet deadlines and display initiative in a fast-track environment.
  • Results driven, Team player, recognizes successes.
  • Ability to communicate financial information to non-financial managers.
  • Solution-orientated management style
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills and able to establish trust and credibility.
