We are looking for a Senior Accountant to support all aspects of our company's daily accounting operations. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for performing various accounting tasks, including accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, financial reporting, and assisting in the month-end close process. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.


As a Senior Accountant, your daily workload might include:


  • Prepare payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements.
  • Process vendor invoices, employee expense reports, and customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Conduct regular reconciliations of accounts payable and accounts receivable records.
  • Perform daily bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy between the company's records and bank statements.
  • Manage and reconcile petty cash transactions.
  • Comply with zakat, GOSI, and tax financial policies and regulations.
  • Review, investigate, and correct errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports.
  • Review accounts payables and oversee weekly check runs and approve financial transactions within designated limits, determining the appropriate handling, and in alignment with organizational standards.
  • Compile and analyze financial information for general ledger entries, cost centers, and business transactions.
  • Distribute financial statements, cost center reports, and monthly comparison reports.
  • Prepare work papers and supporting schedules for the annual financial review.
  • Coordinate the monthly closing process and reconcile general ledger accounts.
  • Maintain an accurate accounts system and comprehensive records of all company transactions and assets.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies, regulations, and laws.
  • Maintain the general ledger and all books of accounts up to final accounts and balance sheet.
  • Manage the annual audit process, including drafting financial statements and related notes.
  • Work closely with Finance team members to assist with the month-end close.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by the manager in finance and administration.
