Job Overview We are looking to hire an experienced Junior Analyst who will assist in project financial administration and provide analytical support to the Projects Controls and Operations Team. The ideal candidate will require to have experience with Deltek Vantagepoint/Vision and possess a strong analytical mindset. This role will report to the Project Controls Manager Primary Activities: Assist in daily financial administration tasks, including project administration, data imports, expense tracking, and reporting.Maintain Deltek ERP system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.Assist in the analysis of financial data using Deltek Vantagepoint to support commercial and financial decision-making processes.Collaborate with operational and design teams to gather, interpret data related to project performance, revenue forecasts, and profitability metrics.Prepare reports, interpret dashboards, summarise findings, and provide recommendations for review.Support the development and maintenance of project financial models and dashboards to facilitate accurate, timely project, and financial analysis.Conduct analysis to address specific business questions and identify opportunities for process improvement.Assist in monitoring project budgets, expenses, and revenue recognition in alignment with company processes and expectations.Contribute to the preparation of budget forecasts, variance analysis, and project specific financial projections.Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation.Support audits and compliance activities as needed.Technical Competencies:Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and trends.Detail oriented approach with a commitment to accuracy and data integrity.Proactive mindset with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Ability to problem-solving and willingness to learn new concepts.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
