About the School: The School of Engineering is seeking a qualified and motivated adjunct to teach on its highly successful Masters of Engineering Management degree, to join in April 2024. The successful candidate will lecture the subject Strategic Management for Engineers and Technologists.
The School offers bachelor’s degrees in Civil, Computer Engineering & Autonomous Systems, Electrical & Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronic, and Telecommunications Engineering and Internet of Things. At Postgraduate level, the School offers the Master of Engineering Management.
Requirements & Responsibilities: The ideal candidate will have demonstrated teaching or Industry expertise in Strategic Management relevant to Engineers and Technologists. The subject, Strategic Management for Engineers and Technologists, introduces engineers and technologists to strategic management. This includes basic principles of analysis, decision-making and implementation. The aim is to create awareness of strategic issues in engineering and technology based organisations. This includes an appreciation of competitive leverage from technology decisions. A need for consciousness of these issues amongst engineers is crucial to their function in both profit and not for profit organisations.
Qualifications & Experience:
PhD Degree in relevant area
Relevant Industry experience in senior leadership
Fluency in English (both spoken and written)

Compensation & Benefits: The successful candidate will enjoy interaction with a professional dynamic team of highly respected educators from more than 50 different countries and exposure to students from over 100 nationalities.
The University offers adjunct tutors at undergraduate level a compensation of AED 3000/- per semester for tutorials and 2500/- per semester for labratory sessions. This covers teaching, grading and providing subject consultation for students. The University is located in Knowledge Park, Dubai and has excellent teaching, learning and research facilities as well as a Library that meets international standards.
