Working across the Middle East, North Africa, and Asia, GMG has introduced more than 120 brands into its markets.About the Role:To manage day to day running of the assigned section and ensure that all standards in sales, service, display, stock availability, and staff are met to achieve targets.Core Responsibilities:Responsible for achieving the annual budget plan set for the financial year for the section.Support the store manager with formulating section forecasts on a monthly basis.Determine the quantity of goods to be ordered from the suppliers and Raise purchase orders for receipt of products.Analyze bestsellers in terms of price points and type to ensure that bestsellers reach their full potential, furthermore analyze slow sellers and respond accordingly.Prepare weekly and monthly management information system reports that cover sales, budget ratio, negative turnovers, month and year to date comparisons, hygiene and stock numbers to analyze performance with the store managerCoordinate with the decoration team for provisional promotional themes regarding the sectionEnsure that the section is ready to trade before store opening and guide the team on the sameCoordinate with IT team regularly for pricing updates and adjustments to barcodes.Communicate with maintenance teams for all asset repair issuesEnsure that stock is displayed by expiry dates and that damaged or expired goods are removed from the display areaEnsure the HACCP standards in the section are maintained and ensure strict adherence to company health and safety policies throughout the section.Ensure that all brand guidelines and standard operating procedures are followed as mentioned in company policy manuals.Skills required:High School / Diploma1-3 yearsRetail market IT systems.
