Drawing on our wide technical and industry expertise, we work with companies worldwide to bridge trust gaps among consumers, producers and suppliers.About The RoleThe Position requires: - Involvement in sustainability & GHG assignments across various sectors like Oil and Gas, steel, aluminum, cement industry etc.Carrying our independent assurance of clients’ projects including but not limited to Sustainability/Integrated reports (IR)/ESG reports, Green / Climate / Sustainable Bonds/Finance Assurance while ensuring a quality output based on various reporting frameworks like GRI, IR Framework and other relevant criteria.Carrying our independent validation & verification of client’s GHG inventory / CFP / Green Product / emission reduction claims involving (Scope 1, 2 and Scope 3 emissions) / Carbon Neutrality / Net Zero.Involvement in materiality assessments, impact assessments, review of stakeholder engagements Involvement in review of water balancing/Neutrality assessments for clientsInvolvement in waste management (plastic, solid waste, E-waste etc.) assessments/audits for various clients.What we offerWe have a comprehensive range of benefits. Diversity is fundamental to our culture and we invite you to be part of this diversity.EducationAbout youBachelor’s degree in engineering (Mech/Chem/Electrical) from a reputed college or university.Master’s degree in Sustainability will be an added advantage.Certifications in climate change, environment, and sustainability related areas from GRI, SASB, etc. will be an advantage.ExperienceTotal 6-7 years of experience with 3-4 years’ experience in core sustainability / GHG space (advisory or assurance).Industry experience (steel, aluminium, chemical, cement etc.) will be an added advantage.Knowledge And SkillsWe are looking for young dynamic candidate who:has good understanding of ESG reporting frameworks, such as GRI, CDP, IR Framework etc.; has relevant experience in ESG Assurance on various ESG disclosures in line with ISAE 3000 (revised) and / AA1000 assurance standards has good knowledge of existing and evolving ESG concepts and practices across sector/geographies. knowledge in ESG reporting, materiality assessment, Impact assessments, among others and understanding of Double materiality assessment, CSRD regulations and IFRS standardshas good understanding of various GHG accounting and reporting standards like (e.g., TCFD, CDP, SBTi, GHG Protocol, ISO 14064, ISO 14067). is familiar with carbon accounting methodologies, emission reduction strategies, and renewable energy technologies.is familiar with Sustainable Finance/Bonds frameworks and Certification/verification process. is good in leading the project deliveries - delivering on-time, on-budget and achieving high levels of internal and external customer satisfaction. maintains flexibility in work hours and work independently with minimal supervision. is willing to travel, as necessary. Experience in Assurance / verification with Lead Verifier qualification will be an advantage. We Expect The Candidate To HaveExcellent communication skills written, verbal and presentation skills. Strong problem solving and data analysis skills, data interpretation and first principal problem-solving approach Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills PC skills to include Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint) Ability to interact in a professional manner with customers Experience in management audits – Economic, Environment and Social Standards. Consistently exhibits DNV values in all interactions with associates and customers Mobility to travel as necessary for the job
