Company DescriptionEver since Egypt launched its IMF-backed economic reform programmer in November 2017, the country’s construction sector has continued to expand both in scale and diversity, ranging from new housing through to major transportation projects.Supported by a growing population and a strengthening investment environment, Egypt remains one of the MENA region’s strongest performers and was in fact the only country to increase overall spending on construction projects between 2017 – 2018.Doka Egypt is currently looking to recruit a career driven professional to join its versatile team and support the company’s ongoing national expansion.The suitable candidate will be a qualified, natural team player who can add significant value to this highly dynamic teamJob DescriptionAnalyse structural drawings given by clientsImplement formwork solution as per the instructions of the Sales Engineer, Team Leader or Senior Planning EngineerPropose the most economical and best technical solutionConduct basic static calculationsProduce material list, offer drawings and shop drawingsAssist the Sales Engineer with site visitsCoordinate the timely delivery of shop drawings as per instructionsCoordinate with clients for technical issuesCoordinate with other involved departments (Operations, Site Supervisors, Project Coordinator)Consideration of availability of material in the design stageCommunication with Sales Department in absence of Head of EngineeringSupport formwork instructor and coordinate with site teamQualificationsCAD knowledgeTechnical/Civil Engineering QualificationEnglishBasic IT-skillsBasic formwork knowledgeExperience in erecting and dismantling formwork and site supervision.Team playerAttention to detailGood communication skills (within company and with clients)Technical/static understandingA feel for economical mattersAbility to work under minimal supervisionMotivation to improve knowledgeWillingness to work over time if required.5 Years experience
