Job DescriptionManufacturing EngineerManufacturing Engineer shall be knowledgeable in terms of manufacturing and safe working practices, used to solve difficult call, looking to develop new and innovative solutions, and representing Jubail operation to Global manufacturing council.In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:Build, detail, and maintain part numbers in the Jubail engineering database.Analyze and procure equipment and tooling requirements for efficient production.Review and implement safety, 5S, and lean waste control measures.Support item activation, handling tool requests, and maintenance and calibration activities.Design special tools and fixtures for production, using AutoCAD.Participate in HSE walk-throughs, 6S audits, observation audits, and hazard and action item review meetings.Implement two safety improvements per month and support the Manufacturing Engineering department in closing open velocity action items.Develop SOPs for shop floor activities.Conduct process and time studies of factory operations, including CAPEX and routings.Support the Manufacturing Engineering team in making routing changes at the SBOM level based on global updates.Analyze tooling requirements for safety and production.Maintain a list of tools and equipment with location and identification in the online portal.Design and purchase tools, fixtures, and equipment's for the manufacturing, by contacting various suppliers, starting from the AR till installation and training to the operators.Participate in production meeting and provide recommendation/solution for improvement.Handle all tooling requirements raised by the Production team in the online manufacturing portal.Lead all aspects of and coordinate the technician/facility team/contractor who maintain and repair equipment, machine, electrical, plumbing, ventilation, and other building systems.Evaluate problematic machine/equipment or facilities and resolve installation or repair services need to be performed.Develop and implement maintenance procedures/checklist of the machines & equipment.Provide Quick Engineering solutions for all problems occurring in Assembly and Testing by reviewing the BOM's, product data, design, selection, and engineering data.Prepare procedures for safety and manufacturing activities.Provide training to the technicians on safety and manufacturing procedures (Dubai SOP's, Products FGS, WMP's, Manuals, and catalogues.)Review BOM's for non-standard products to advise the planners on lead time and special requirements.Review orders running into suspended status.Review enquiries from customer on the manufacturing of products not in prospectus and advise the planners.Check for BOM issues in orders and advise the planning and purchase teams.Provide Engineering support for all clarifications sought by suppliers on machining and casting drawings and procedures.Review & updated the ECRN and Maintain the engineering data base of MEA up to date with the current Fisher Corporate Engineering data.Point of contact with the corporate product engineering for the product related issuesWho you are:Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.Strong analytical skills.Strong foundation in design and analysis of tooling and fixtures.Recognize and accept HSE Roles & Responsibilities as defined in Emerson's Company Procedures.Failure to align with Safety Management System and Health and Safety procedures will result in disciplinary procedures.For this Role, You Will Need:Mechanical or equivalent technical degree.3 to 5 years' VALVE experience in Design, Engineering, or production environment.Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:Expert level user of design Software – Auto Cad (must), Solid works (optional).Our offer to you:We recognize the importance of employee wellbeing and know that to do your best you have flexible, competitive benefit plans to meet you and your family’s physical, mental, financial, and social needs.
