The Compliance Data team is responsible for delivering the data requirements of the different compliance teams. The team is also responsible for ensuring the data consumed by compliance systems and end users is complete and accurate. The data governance analyst is responsible for ensuring the right controls are placed to meet the standards of data quality. The data governance analyst will be responsible for the following activities Build and maintain data lineage for data consumed by compliance teams and systems Measure and monitor data quality metrics Build and maintain controls for ensuring data completeness and accuracy. Coordinate with technology teams for fixing identified data gaps. Build and maintain data glossary and reports repository for compliance Work with end users to understand functional data requirements and translate them to data specification. Testing deliveries and maintaining a testing log.Description of Knowledge / Skill etc. Banking products and operations. Strong understanding of databases and data structures Understanding of data mapping and lineage. Understanding of ETL and data transformation Requirements gathering and preparing business requirements documents Understanding of software delivery life cycle Proven expertise utilizing SAS (base and advanced) and SQL for implementing Data management solutions
