Emirati Integrated Logistic Support Engineer

The Role

We are looking for an Engineer with interest in developing skills and experience within Integrated Logistic Support.

Your main Tasks

As Integrated Logistic Support engineer you will participate during the entire product lifecycle, from development to phase out. You will be working in different projects and together with colleagues, so personal characteristics are of high importance.

The Tasks:

• Life Cycle Cost analysis
• Reliability, Availability and Maintainability analysis
• Logistics support analysis
• Technical specification and user documentation of products
• Planning of ILS work through the life cycle
• Operator training and training materiel
• Support system specification, analysis, planning and implementation

Your Experience

Your experience and education may vary, but probably you have experience or education within:

• UAE National
• Qualifications in Logistics Engineering, Electronics/Electrical Engineering or equivalent on the job experience
• Experience or knowledge in LSA and R&M analysis tools
• Experience or knowledge in preparing ILS analyses, inputs and recommendations to obsolescence reports
• Preferably understanding of the development and the relations between the various ILS elements
• COTS based logistics experience
• Experience or understanding of ILS processes or Systems Engineering
• Merits can be:
• Experience in Defence industry and its logistics practices and standards
• Maintenance management systems and tools
• Failure reporting, analysis and corrective actions systems and tools
• Configuration management and asset management systems and tools
• Driver’s license

• Analysis, problem solving and trouble shooting
• Interpretation and breakdown of requirements and tasks
• Very good cooperation ability
• Specifications, design diagrams and descriptions as well as reports
• Identification if improvement possibilities
• Good ability to carry through your own and others' ideas
• You must be able to express yourself in English, both oral and in written
• For you to achieve good results, you should act commercially and professionally when in contact with both customers and suppliers

This position requires that you undergo a security screening in accordance with the Saab internal processes.
